Transfers!!

Hello!!

This week seems to have gone by so so fast. So I will probably just give some highlights of cool things that have happened!

We had interviews this week and I seriously love President Innes so so much! He over my mission has just helped me so much and helped me reach my potential. He is just the best!

We have been trying to get in with a technical college to do LightTheWorld with them and every person we went to that day told us to go to another person. So that was fun but eventually we figured it out and we can start it up!

We have been showing "The Christ Child" video to everybody and I just tear up everytime I watch it! If you haven't seen it GO WATCH IT!! I truly know from the bottom of my heart that Jesus is our Lord and Savior. I know that He atoned for our sins and our loving Heavenly father let Him do that for us!

We also found out transfer news and we are both staying!! I am so excited that this will be my last area! I love the people here so so much and I am so excited to share my testimony with others!!

A good talk to read this week is "The Atonement of Jesus Christ" By Tad R. Callister.

Well I love y'all so much and have a blessed week!

Lol I didn’t even know she was pregnant

This week we got this text from a person we are teaching with pictures of her new puppies! It was really really cute!

I had some really cool miracles! We were talking to people when we were at Walmart and we started talking to this older lady and she told us about how her husband died and she had a dream about him. In the dream she saw that he had no scars and that he was helping people learn. We were able to testify of the spirit world and how we will be working to help others! Another conversation we had was with this guy who told us he thinks that the United States was given to us by God and we were able to talk about the Book of Mormon and how we know that is true! So awesome!

We had a relief society activity called "Joy in a Bag" and every sister just brought their joy in a bag. It was really cool to see how everything that gives us joy, God created for us! We also did the Family Tree app and found out that we were all cousins and it was so sweet! Y'all the church is true!!

If you want a really good talk to to read this week read "Trust in the Lord" by Dallin H. Oaks. Also, you can read the new missionary standards because that is pretty legit and it is so cool to see the small changes!

Well, I love y'all so much and stay blessed!

LTW

Hello my friends and family!

It has been such a good week! We had zone conference and it was all about how to have the Spirit with us more as we plan and set goals and find people. It was really neat to see some areas that I need to work in and set those goals to help me get to the level I need to be at! We also got to watch the new Light the World videos! They are so good this year and I promise at least one of them will make you cry lol! Also a fun thing is we (my whole district) got to sing at zone conference and we didn't sound bad at all!

This week I was reading in 2 Nephi 27 and it was the last Isaiah chapter of Nephi. This time around with my reading have really tried to understand and love Isaiah and this chapter did that for me. It was so cool studying it with the manual and seeing how some of the prophecies have already happened and how we are fulfilling other prophecies. It made me realize how important listening to a prophet is and how his counsel really is from God! I love a living Prophet and the power of the priesthood!

A good talk to read this week is “True Disciples of the Savior”, by Elder Terrence M. Vinson! One of my favorite lines in that talk is "We can feel enduring joy when our Savior and His gospel become the framework around which we build our lives."

Well, I love y'all and I hope you have a blessed week!

King Lamoni?

Hola!
This week was good! We were able to find someone new to teach. She is so cute and so so sweet! She told us that she doesn't know if there is a God but believes there is a Spirit watching her and guiding her in her life! We were able to talk about how God is that spirit and it made me feel like I was Ammon teaching King Lamoni! It was cool to see the scriptures come to life!
Sorry I can't think of much else.
A good talk to read this week is “To Young Women” by Elder Holland, this talk is so amazing and just so uplifting!
I love y'all and stay blessed!

“A church like yours”

HI FRIENDS AND FAMILY!

We were talking to this lady who has come to church a couple of times and she told us that she is looking for a church. She told us she us scared to switch over to religion and other fears.
We asked her what she was looking for in a church and she said "Well, a church like yours." 😂

This week was good! We were able to do a lot and it is so much fun!
Some highlights of it was that we found a new place to do service at. I just love doing service, it makes my heart so so happy. We are working at a food pantry called Our Lady of the Valley. It is a catholic church and everyone there is so loving! There was a lot of members from other wards helping and it was so cool to be apart of.
We also had a ward Halloween party and it was so cool to see everyone come together and just really become friends! We were Ariel and Ursula from The Little Mermaid.  The Graniteville ward is so special and there are some amazing things just around the corner! I can feel it!!
This week a good talk to read is “Spiritual Capacity” from this past confernce. I love this talk so much!!
Well, I love y'all so much and I hope you have a blessed week!

Scripture Power for the win

Hello! This week was so so good! We are seeing some really good things happen and we are excited to help them.
One thing that happened is we got a referral for a bible study but there was absolutely no notes about her or why she wanted it. So we said alright, full send let's just show up! This women was the sweetest thing ever! She told us the reason she wanted to meet with us is because she can't see to read her bible and she misses reading it. Like for cute! So, if you ever need help reading call the missionaries they can help you
We also were knocking and met this lady who wasn’t really into church but reads the bible to her kids every night. Her kid said something about ancient America and how Jesus was in Jerusalenlm and people here were just chilling. After she said that we talked about the Book of Mormon and how we have a record of what those people were doing. So pray, that she will read it!!
That is about all but if you need a good talk to read please look up "Ponder the path of thy feet" By President Monson!

Well, I love y'all and stay blessed!

Georgialina

Hello my friends and family! It hasn't been too long since the last time I emailed so sorry that it will be short.

My new companion is Sister Foster and she is so sweet and is from Bountiful. We are going to do a lot of good here and a lot of members are excited to work with us, so that helps a ton with everything. If they were mean, I think I would cry a lot. I haven't cried at all! I'm proud of myself!

Any who that's about all for this week, so sorry but a good talk to read is “Watchful unto Prayer Continually” (Alma 34:39; Moroni 6:4; Luke 21:36) by Elder Bednar. Such a good talk!

Well I love y'all and I hope you have a blessed week!

IT CALLS ME

Not only does the beach call me but so does President... He called us this week to say the both Sister Perrero and I are training new missionaries. I am also going to a new area that just got formed! Graniteville will be so much fun!

Oh my goodness gracious, wasn’t conference the best ever! There were so many talks about discipleship and joy. I can just say being on my mission that is so true! I have never felt more joy then when I am serving my God! He really does bless us with so much!! During the womens session I cried as they read the new young womens theme, it just makes it so personal. I honestly cried a lot during conference which probably surprises no one at this point!

The temple last week was so amazing. I prayed before getting there that it could be more special this time than others and God does not disappoint! The whole time, I felt more than then I ever have before. If you haven't been to the temple in a while GO and feel the love God so freely gives us!

If you didn't get a chance to watch conference or you missed some talks go and watch it! Also, y’all should listen to Peter Johnson’s  talk again.  He has a way of speaking that is so unique!

Anywho, I love y'all so much and stay blessed!

Love your favorite Sister,
Sister Jensen

I ran out of beach songs...

This week was so good! We are working so hard and having such a good time here. It is so so beautiful!!

We taught Marlene a lesson and it was so good! We talked about the Book of Mormon and all about the power of it. She was so excited to have a copy of the Book of Mormon and she is so ready to read it! I stinkin' love her!

A miracle we saw this week was when we were biking all around our area and we had our comp study/lunch at CiCi's Pizza. We got talking to the cashier and she told us how sad she is and we just staring talking about Jesus. We talked about bible studies and she started to glow about doing a study with us! It is just so cool about how when we try our best to serve God, He will put people in our way that need to hear His gospel!

Sorry that this is short but I know that God loves each one of you so so much! A good thing to watch is the Face to Face with Elder Soares, it was so good! Well, I love y'all so much and I hope y'all have a blessed week!

Surfin' USA

This week was so amazing! We saw so many miracles and it was great to be apart of!

The first one was we went and we knocked on the door of a man, and he told us that they had moved there BUT that it was so crazy we were showed up. He told us that him and his girlfriend have been talking about God and religion recently and they are reading the Bible. He told us that he would love for us to come by and teach them and do studies! It was so cool to be able to witness the miracle and be an answer to their prayers!

Another one was that we knocked on the door of a family who had been taught by the missionaries in the past. They let us in and they were so happy that we came to see them. They told us all about what they had been taught and told us that they want to learn more! While we were there they started to invite their neighbors so we now have a neighborhood teaching party this week!

Surfside is so nice and there is so much good that is happening and that will continue to happen. I am so excited to be here and be able to see how God can use me to be a tool in His hands! The beach is also the prettiest thing ever!!

A good talk to read this week is "Missionary Work: Sharing What Is in Your Heart", by Elder Uchtdorf! It is such a good talk and it has really helped our mission and helped me to be a better disciple. So, my challenge to y'all is to take something that he says in his talk and do it this week! I know that there is someone God wants you to share some piece of His Gospel with!

Well, I love y'all and stay blessed!

Sister Jensen
