#blessed

This week was honestly so amazing! Although, the first couple of days were so long and everyday feels like it just blends into the next, it’s such a spiritual experience and I can't wait to see how much I change in the short amount of time in the MTC. Waking up at 6:30 isn’t that bad and quite honestly I am getting used to it! The food is ehh. I don't really like it that much. It’s good but not my style, if that makes sense.
From day one at the MTC, you go in a classroom and meet your district! We’re all tight and it's pretty dope (In Bailee’s email to me she said that something that stinks is that she can’t say guys, homie, bro, dope, dank, yo, really just any of her gangster terms so that has been a struggle. She said that she is sorry if all the sudden she says dope or homie a lot in these emails. She just needs to get it all out of her system lol)! All day we had to wear an orange dot on our name tag showing that we are newbies and everyone welcomes you to the MTC and you get tired of hearing it, but they all mean well though!
My companion is Sister Beckstrom. I knew her from Logan and if that is not a testament that God hears and answers your prayers, then I don’t know what is! That night we got our first investigator Eddie and we had to plan a lesson (which is weird when you are on your first day and have no clue what the heck is going on). The next day we taught Eddie and it went amazing! At the end of all our meetings with him we asked him to be baptized and he said yes. Sister Beckstrom and I work really good together and when we teach we really just follow the spirit and it has been a great guide in our lessons! Eddie was also our teacher but it’s still just as powerful!
This week, with the new mission presidents roaming around, we have had the apostles here. They just walk around and it’s so cool to see some of them. I saw Elder Rasband, Elder Ucthdorf talked to me, I got to teach Elder Dube, and I got to see all 12 of the apostles all in one place! So cool.
I joined the MTC choir and sung on Sunday when Elder Cook was giving a devotional, and now I can now say I bore my testimony to all 12 of the apostles at the same time! How cool is that!
We got our TRC investigator (the trc is pretty much a building that gives all missionaries investigators), Her name is Hannah and she is amazing! We have another lesson with her tomorrow!
I found that I am still dope at Spike Ball and Four Square so some things never change!

I love you all so much! Email me whenever (Bailee.Jensen@myldsmail.net)!! I would love to hear from ya'll (language study is mainly focusing on the southern terms)!

I feel so great! This is honestly the happiest I have been since I can remember! I really want some hand written letters and I want a ton of pictures of family and friends!

Look for the tender mercies of the Lord everyday and you will be so blessed and a lot happier! Also, try and see the hand of the lord and realize what he does for you everyday! Once you do that you just are happier and your day is so much better!

Love,
Sister Jensen

My district is Elder Jones and Sivadon, E. Williams and Raza, E. Larsen and Maughn, E. Krecthmeir and Gerrard. The Sisters are Church and Jacobson. Then there is Sister Beckstrom and myself!

IM ALIVE

We dropped Bailee off on June 20 at 12:45. I received this email on June 20 at 1:24. She will be such an amazing missionary! She loves life and those who are lucky enough to be around her.

101 things I've learned on a mission...

1. Hand quilt  2. Just like a pothole, a testimony can grow overnight  3. Miracles do happen! 4. The gift of revelation 5. The love...
