Do I hear $5?

I am doing really good! I am so excited to be here staying here for another transfer. The first day I was a little confused as to why I am staying but I love that I am. I see how much that the ward trusts me and trust means people will start introducing us to their friends (#score) so I know that I have a reason for being here and I just feel really happy.

The past 5 days have been really good! We did a lot of work with the youth auction this weekend. It was so cool to see people get together and bid for a good cause. I tried to bid but after $5 I had to stop 😊

We are working really hard to progress the people we are teaching and to get them solid! We are also going and finding more so we can teach more people. It is pretty good!

Well, a good talk/devotional to read is "Of Starfish and Destinies!".

I love y'all so much and I hope y'all have a blessed week!

OHHHH I"M HALF WAY THERE... and I am staying in Congaree

This week marked another transfer week and I am staying in the blessed area of Congaree! I love it here and it really has become my home!

Something amazing happened! We found 2 new people to teach. They are a married couple and one has a brother who is a member and they are curious to see why he is so happy. She called us and we are going over there to show her what it is that helps him be happy. It was really cool!

Well, here is a story to remind all y'all about how "smart" I can be sometimes lol. We were driving in the car and I called the speedometer a speed thermometer.  I also tried to check the oil in our car and tried to pull the cap to fill it up off.
We have been doing a lot of service and it is so amazing how helping other people helps you! Also another crazy thing is SISTER SANDERS IS MY STL (Sister Training Leader)!!!!! I am so happy and this transfer is going to be awesome!

I would invite y'all to share your testimony with someone new this week! I love y'all and I hope you have a blessed week!

Otterly Terrifying

This morning we were driving home from the store and I saw a dead otter and I started crying. That was probably the saddest dead thing I have ever seen on the road.

We had interviews with President Innes and it is always so good to speak with him and be able to get advice for our area. We are still finding like crazy and we are having some luck!
We ran into a former investigator named Dot and she told us how she missed us and wanted us to come back and visit her so hopefully that will be good! It is crazy being in an area for a while; I have started making friends with people in stores and gas stations and a lot of them are asking questions for why we are here! Its amazing to see what the Lord will do when you are on His errand!
I think for this week I would have y'all read "Try,Try, Try" because that is one of my favorite talks!
Anyway, gator season is among us! One of our members saw a gator on his land so hopefully I wont have to run in a zig-zag.
I love y'all and I hope y'all have a blessed week!

Spanish???

So I guess the really great experience I had this week was that I got to go on exchanges with our sister training leaders; well for our case it was the hermana training leaders. So, I was thrown into a day full of speaking Spanish and I didn't have any clue what was going on. The amazing thing that happened was that when I testified of Christ, even though they didn't have any idea what I was saying, the Spirit was able to touch them. It was honestly some of the strongest feelings of the Spirit I have ever felt.
I know that as we do all we can and that as we testify of the truth everyone will feel the Spirit and know that it is true!
It is amazing being able to be on a mission!
This week instead of a talk to read, study the Come, Follow Me and say your prayers!
I love y'all so much and stay blessed!
