When your ac breaks and then your car...

This week was a crazy week but it is so awesome to see God's hand in it all!

We went on exchanges this week and it was so much fun! I was able to go to Spartanburg with Sister Church. We got to do a service project at Hatcher gardens. We helped them to pull things out of the ground to make the other flowers look good. It was fun but really, really hot and dirty.

We also had an amazing lesson with Joseph and he is all good for baptism! It's gonna be awesome and something that we are really looking forward to! We have been teaching some others also and it just feels so promising and good.

Well, our air conditioner broke earlier this week in our apartment. It was sitting at a cool 90° one day, so ya...it was hot. We got a fan and camped out in the living room so we could get some airflow. We also found a leak in our car and so we called our car specialist. He told us  that we cracked our fuel line... we don't know how but we are taking it in on Wednesday to get fixed!

A good talk to read this week is "Your Priesthood Playbook" from the most recent general conference. It's a great talk and it applies to us all.

Well as always, I love y'all and have a blessed week!

CAN I GET AN AMEN??!!

Hey yall!

Things out here in Inman has been poppin'. We have had a pretty exciting week.

On Wednesday we had an awesome lesson with Preston, Joseph, and Kate. Kate had some awesome questions about why we think this is the only true church. Lucky for her we were teaching the Restoration. It was a bomb.com lesson and the spirit was crazy strong. We hope that we were able to answer some of her questions.

Friday we had zone conference. It was as zone conferencey as ever.

On Saturday we met this 95 year old named Hilda. She likes to paint and her husband carves wood. They aren't that interested in the gospel but they were very nice.

Sunday was probably the greatest moment of my life. Why you may ask? Well, I'll tell ya.

Joseph came to church by himself, first off. We were very pumped that he made that big decision by himself. Anyways, we asked if he would like to meet after church with us and he agreed. We grabbed our recent convert, Margaret, and had a bomb lesson. We had Margaret share her conversion story and why she knows the church is true. The spirit was super duper strong and we took that moment to invite Joseph to be on date for baptism. And he said yes and was smiling ear- to ear!  We are now having a baptism on June 1st and we are pumped! Can I get an amen!?

Anyways, solid week and I am just so happy!

If you want something cool to do, read Moroni 6 it is a great chapter!
Anyways, I love y'all an hope you have a blessed weeK!

Inman or Bust!!

So, I am in Inman and it is so so pretty here! Lots and lots of trees and you can see the mountains far off in the distance. Another cool thing is I got to see a live opossum and they are so much cuter alive than as road kill.

We have seen a lot of miracles lately and the theme of them seems to be that if you set a goal the Lord will help you to achieve it! Sorry this is so short and lame but I am running out of time!

Well, If you need a good talk read "Sleeping Through the Restoration", by Elder Uctdorf!
Anyways, love y'all and stay blessed!

Therapy Chickens??

This week, we went to see an older lady in our ward who has been in a rehab facility. While we were there one of the nurses asked us if we wanted to see their therapy chickens. There was another patient who for her therapy would hold the chickens until they were asleep. It was the cutest thing ever!
We had transfer news and I am going to Inman. I found out earlier in the week that I was to go to Summit but I got a call yesterday saying that I am heading to Inman instead and that I will be in a three pack again. I am nervous/excited. It is crazy to see how revelation happens to quick.
It is cool because revelation was a topic of my studies this week. I was reading in Ether and the Brother of Jared. It was just really cool to see how sometimes the Lord will lay out this detailed plan for us and we should follow it but then other times He wants us to come with a solution and roll with it until we receive other guidance. It was also interesting because I read a talk about how we might have a lot of different options to choose from ( like where to live, or go to school, or our career) and the Lord just wants us to pray and then go with what we feel is best for us. The Holy Ghost will always warn us if it is not right but until that point, stick with what you love and do the things the Lord wants you to do.
We went to the Zoo today and a couple cool things happened: 1) I feed a Giraffe  2) I got to walk around in a cage with kangaroos and 3) A BIRD POOPED ON MY SHOULDER!!! this is the one thing that happened that made me want to kinda cry. Just another reason as to why I do not like birds.
A good talk to read this week is "Look Ahead and Believe" by Elder Dube.

Well, as always I love y'all and I hope you have a blessed week!

xoxo.
