"There's a whole lot of uglies out there" - Hilda

We were talking to this sweet, 95 year old women named Hilda and she was just talking about all the different personalities that people have and it just cracked me up. Sister Laudie said to her that on the 5th day God created the uglies and the cuties. Hilda's response was, "There's a whole lot of uglies out there". To say the least, we are getting along really well!

This week was a whole lot of talking to people and getting new people to teach! It's really awesome in this area. We find someone, we help them progress, and then we start the cycle over again! It's my favorite thing ever!

Lisa is doing really good and she is so excited about her baptism next Saturday! I LOVE Lisa and she is just the best! She (without us even asking her too)  started reading the Doctrine and Covenants because she finished the Book of Mormon! #yougogirl

I also hit a year this week and I cried just a little bit. A mission goes by WAY too fast! I love the South so much and it's amazing to be able to help so many people along the way!

As always, a good talk to read is "Tomorrow, the Lord Will Do Wonders Among You," by Elder Holland! It is so good and just one of my favs.
I love y'all so much and stay blessed!

Love,
Sister Jensen

" Oh you devil"

We were at a members house this week and, out of sibling love, one of them said, "Oh you devil"!!  Lol reminds me of my siblings ;)

This week was so awesome! Inman is killing it and so is my new companion Sister Laudie! She is so awesome and is not afraid of trying anything!

We really saw our prayers answered this week and it has been some really humbling experiences. We were doing our companionship study at the park and we prayed to have someone there for us to talk to about the gospel. We were studying and that is when Carolyn came over and sat down. We talked for a while and she kept saying how much she liked talking to us and how the next time we are all at the park we are going to have to talk a lot about what we each believe! I am so pumped!
Another answer to our prayer was with Lisa. While we were doing our weekly planning we prayed and we felt really strong about asking if she would be baptized and putting her on date for July 13. We felt so good about it, so we ran with it. We had our lesson with her on Friday and we invited her to be baptized and she said YES! She then asked if we can move it to July 6 instead. She told us while she was mowing her lawn that a thought came into her mind to be baptized on that date.
It is so amazing to see how God will answer your prayer, it is just so amazing to see the love He has for each of us!

Well, If you need a good talk this week read Sister Craven's talk "Casual or Careful" from the last General Conference.

I love y'all and stay blessed!

Sister Jensen

There's two of them!

We were doing some lovely store contacting (just talking to people at different stores) and a lady stopped dead in her tracks, looked at our tag then turned to her grandma and said,
"Oh Lord, there are two of them". I busted out laughing and it was just another one of those Office moments. I also got the hiccups really bad while we were in the store and everyone would either laugh or bless me. It was funny!

So transfers are among us and we got some news...Sister Lyman is going to Seneca with Sister Crave!! My gurll! I am staying in good ol' Inman and training a new missionary. I am excited and it should be fun!

We did service this week and helped clean a house for someone because they are moving. We got it lookin nice! I also was super spontaneous this week and let a youth in our ward cut me some bangs...yep, I did that.
We also got to see and catch fireflies! Oh my heaven! It is such a pretty sight to see them that I started to cry!

Well, a good talk for the week is "100% Responsible" by Lyn Robbins (I think)...

Well, I love y'all and stay blessed!

Sister Jensen

A Freaking Mazing

The title says it all for this week!

We had such a great week!
We were able to see Joseph get baptized!!!!
The spirit was so strong and it was just a very sweet experience. I don't think there was a dry eye in the room. After he got baptized, there was a couple of us who stayed after and played knockout... I am so terrible at basketball so maybe Bubba will have to teach me some moves when I get back home. On Sunday, he received the Holy Ghost and it was A Freaking Mazing (according to Joseph)!!!

We had a lesson with this part memebr family this week and it was so good!! The first question she asked us was "What are the steps to me becoming a member?" Music to a missionaries ears. So we are starting to teach her. Her name is Lisa and she is so sweet. They also have this cat called a mancoon (part raccoon part cat) and that cat LOVES Sister Lyman. It was pretty funny!

A good thing to do this week is to read or listen to Elder Klebingat's talk in the October 2014 conference and ponder on some of the questions he asks.
Well I love y'all and stay blessed!

Sister Jensen
