I ran out of beach songs...

This week was so good! We are working so hard and having such a good time here. It is so so beautiful!!

We taught Marlene a lesson and it was so good! We talked about the Book of Mormon and all about the power of it. She was so excited to have a copy of the Book of Mormon and she is so ready to read it! I stinkin' love her! 

A miracle we saw this week was when we were biking all around our area and we had our comp study/lunch at CiCi's Pizza. We got talking to the cashier and she told us how sad she is and we just staring talking about Jesus. We talked about bible studies and she started to glow about doing a study with us! It is just so cool about how when we try our best to serve God, He will put people in our way that need to hear His gospel! 

Sorry that this is short but I know that God loves each one of you so so much! A good thing to watch is the Face to Face with Elder Soares, it was so good! Well, I love y'all so much and I hope y'all have a blessed week!

Surfin' USA

This week was so amazing! We saw so many miracles and it was great to be apart of! 

The first one was we went and we knocked on the door of a man, and he told us that they had moved there BUT that it was so crazy we were showed up. He told us that him and his girlfriend have been talking about God and religion recently and they are reading the Bible. He told us that he would love for us to come by and teach them and do studies! It was so cool to be able to witness the miracle and be an answer to their prayers! 

Another one was that we knocked on the door of a family who had been taught by the missionaries in the past. They let us in and they were so happy that we came to see them. They told us all about what they had been taught and told us that they want to learn more! While we were there they started to invite their neighbors so we now have a neighborhood teaching party this week! 

Surfside is so nice and there is so much good that is happening and that will continue to happen. I am so excited to be here and be able to see how God can use me to be a tool in His hands! The beach is also the prettiest thing ever!! 

A good talk to read this week is "Missionary Work: Sharing What Is in Your Heart", by Elder Uchtdorf! It is such a good talk and it has really helped our mission and helped me to be a better disciple. So, my challenge to y'all is to take something that he says in his talk and do it this week! I know that there is someone God wants you to share some piece of His Gospel with!

Surf Surf Crazy

This week was crazy! We had transfers and it was insane. It was really really sad to say goodbye to Sister Laudie but I am so excited to see what the Lord has in store for me!  

We went to transfers on Friday and I met my new companion, Sister Perrero. We got all ready to leave and the zone leaders walked up to us and told us that it wasn't cleared for us to go to our new area, Surfside. So, we asked where we should go and they said they had no clue yet. We stayed at the church for a couple hours waiting to know where we would be placed. We got told that we were headed to Florence and it was so much fun to be in one of my old areas! I was able to see one of the members Sister Williams and it was so so much fun! 

We we cleared to go to Surfside on Saturday and it is so small! I love it! We have meet a lot of amazing people and I just love it so much! We have planned a lot of activities for the week and it will be a lot of fun! 

A good talk to read for the week is "On being Genuine", by Elder Holland. It is such a good talk! 

Oh I almost forgot!! From what we can see, there isn't a lot of hurricane damage here and we are safe!

No, that’s a skillet

In Sunday school we had someone explain a craft we were going to do and she asked what this thing was (it was a paint stirrer) and someone said "that's a husband-be-good stick" and then someone commented and said " no, that's a skillet"! I laughed so hard. It was a good lesson and church was also bomb! 

This week was really good we got to have a lesson with all of our investigators and we taught them all the Plan of Salvation which was so cool! All of them told us how it made sense and they could see how it would be important to them #true! 

We got transfer news and I am leaving Inman and going to Surfside (on the coast)! It will be a lot of fun and I am so excited! I will miss Inman and all the people here a lot but I know this is where the Lord wants me to be!

CRAZY THING THAT HAPPENED THIS WEEK:  We witnessed a drug deal (don’t worry, we were safe). We know that we had to witness it so that we would not come back to that house again. Blessings in disguise! 

A really good talk that you should read this week is called “Obedience Brings Blessings”, by Thomas S. Monson.  A good section to read from D&C is section 33!
